TV Soaps

Coronation Street And Emmerdale

So i don't know about you but me and my mum love coronation street and emmerdale. We will sit every night they're on and watch them. I don't know why we like them so much maybe it's because it's like real life, i have no idea. So I thought i'd start doing a post maybe every week with just what is happening on both of them. 

So on Coronation Street which have just all found out that Hayley has got pancreatic cancer:( And Roy is finding it difficult to cope. At first he was just researching things and fussing about her and accidently told everyone at the bistro. However he's coming to terms with it a bit better now. I love Roy and Hayley's relationship and i think it's really sweet. Next story is of course this whole thing to do with Rob, Tracy, Peter and Carla. I find this story line so stupid and it is really getting on my news with them all acting like kids. I think Carla is doing quite a good thing and i'm not even going to say anything about Rob and Tracy's business. 

Now onto Emmerdale. Another awful thing happening with Jenny's death. I love Jenny and i don't think anyone expected that. She was sure Debbie and Cameron were up to something so she hid upstairs to listen to their conversation but they found her after Cameron telling Debbie he was the one that killed Carl. She got in her car and with her only just passing her driving test it wasn't good. She fell of the road and Cameron pulled her to safety. However it must have hit him that she knew and he suffocated her. I just really hope they found that recording she did of their conversation. I don't think there is much else happening in Emmerdale at the moment. I hope this has helped some of you catch up with the soaps and please comment with any juicy gossip you've got!

Instagram/Statigram/Pinterest

Hola!

Today is going to be a post on a couple of social networking sites which i have to say i am a little addicted to. If you haven't heard of Instagram or Statigram then it is a site where you post pictures and videos for other people to see used on your phone and statigram is just the same but on a computer. Pinterest is a similar site where again people post pictures but also quotes which is what i love the most about going on it. I just find these two sites really enjoyable especially to wind down just before i go to bed. I know there are lots of other sites but these two are my favourite with facebook coming 3rd. My Instagram is fliss1420 and my Pinterest is just fliss. I haven't really done anything on this site but im sure you could do some things on it.

Shopping Haul!!

Hello my fantango friends!

(good word)

I haven't been shopping in so long and yesterday i got the chance. I still had all my birthday money left and i haven't spent it all but this is what i got. 

My blue top on the left is from new look and so is my dress. I love both of these products because they're both soooo soft and flowy and it makes me feel amazing:) So that's them. I also got this kind of creamy grey top on the right from Internacionale which has long sleeves and is cropped. I've been wanting a top like this for ages and i was so happy when i found one for only £8.99 too.

I've heard loads of reviews on these gelly nail polishes and have been wanting to try them so i thought i'd get my mits on this pretty colour. It is a very bright pink but it's almost coral too. It's called grapefruit which just makes me want to eat it. 

You can pick up the blue top here and the grey top i couldn't find but here's a black one exactly the same and also it will be in store. And i couldn't find the dress either but should be in store at new look. <3

Today is a little bit of a random post just about quotes. Everyone has their guilty pleasure whether it's eating a full tub of ice cream or going for night walks. Well mine is watching youtube videos, going on instagram and looking up quotes. I just find them really inspiring and so nice to read. So here are a few i like and a few i've made up.

~ People will stare. Make it worth their while.

~ Everyday is a fashion show and the world is the runway.

~ Shopping is cheaper then a psychiatrist.

~ Red lipstick and heels will put the fear of god into people.

And here's one i made up myself~ Be fun, have attitude and wear class. But not without your best accessory, confidence.

L'oreal Blackbuster Eyeliner

Today i'm having a rant about this product because quite frankly it is just rubbish i can't say anything good about it. I'm not sure whether mine was dry or something but i haven't seen any reviews on it so i can't compare. However mine barely made a mark at all just slightly grey.

It looks like this:

I think the pen on this is too thick and that might be why, you can't really make a judgement on where to do it or how thick the line is going to be. I know l'oreal have a different pen eyeliner and i'd love to try it but im a bit put off so if any of you have tried it please comment on what it's like and maybe other eyeliners you've liked any tried.

Forgotten Birthday Present

Hi guys!

When i did my birthday list i forgot one which is this apron that my friends mum made me. Her name is Louise and she makes loads of stuff from aprons, hats, ponchos, scarfs, bags, slippers, baby clothes and knits and makes them all herself. It is amazing stuff and it would mean a lot if you could go to her website and purchase some things as she's just started her business. My apron looks like this.

L'oreal Million Lashes Excess Mascara

Another mascara paragraph today. So I have been looking for a new mascara because i've been using my Maybelline Rocket Volum' mascara which i do still absolutely love but wanted to try something different. I had heard about this mascara but not any reviews or anything so i took a bit of a wild shot with this but i'm so pleased i did!

It looks like this and as you can see the brush is quite long and things with thin brushes on it and it's just amazing. The first time i used it i needed quite a few coats but it's fine now. It lengthens and volumes your lashes and is good at getting those lashes at the edge of your eye to wing them out. It's quite a pricey mascara at £10.99 but it's completely worth it you can pick it up here and if you do try it please comment with your thought of it or any other mascara's you would recommend.

Nivea Shower Cream

Nivea In Shower Body Conditioner

Today is a bit of a rant really because i do not like this product. First of all me and my mum didn't realise you had to use shower gel and then this but hay ho. So you rinse of your shower gel and this is meant to act as a conditioner but to be quite frank it doesn't. It looks like this:

There are so many things wrong with this so i'll list them:

1. It doesn't make a lather to do anything with.

2. It doesn't smell very nice.

3. It doesn't leave your skin feeling smooth in fact my skin is softer when i've just washed off my shower gel before using this.

I wouldn't recommend using this but if you're desperate go ahead and you can pick it up here. Rant over:)

Presents!

Birthday Prezzies!

Hi guys so last weekend it was birthday and i just thought i'd share with you a few things i got. I just want to show you because i thought if you're shopping for a girly girl who loves jewelry and anything to do with makeup then it might give you some ideas. So first up earrings: 

These are from claire's and they are just little sparkly studs but around them they have different coloured bands which you can't see here but i assure you they do:)

I think these ones are from primark but im not sure. There are more but there were so many to fit on! Here are just some owls, sparkly hearts and little gold studs but there were more like bows and roses:)

These have to be my favourite earrings at the moment they are sososososo pretty! I have the lilac, pink and turquoise ones which my mum got me and i absolutely love them they're so pretty and sparkly and who doesn't love a bit of sparkle? I'm pretty sure she got them from silvertree and there are many more colours.

Next is the perfume's:

This is the second edition to the soap and glory perfume, I showed this in my previous post and it's a really yummy smell i've already said everything about it in my other post so i'm not going to ramble.

I find this little perfume just so cute you don't understand it's just small and yummy and cute and amazing and thats all im gonna say;).

Third products are lipstick/lip gloss:

This is a pack of No7 lip glosses that my friend got me probably from boots and they're all gorgeous colours and very moisturising.

These lip glosses are my new addiction. I want to wear them everyday they are that amazing. I've heard some rave's about these but never got round to trying them. They are so bright! I have them in Apocaliptic which is a pure pink and stellar which is a orangey pink. They are both so pretty and stay on forever. Please just go out and buy these.

Next are my smellies like bath bombs and shiz:

My friend who lives in Ulverston got my these, I have no idea where she got them from probably a cute little shop in Ulverston but got they smell amazing. Basically exactly like strawberries so thankyou Hannah:)

This is just what it says on the packet really im guessing it's probably nice and relaxing and im looking forward to trying it.

This is another one of those nommy bath bombs.

A face mask which i got a couple of different kinds:

I've tried these face masks before and i really like them. They do lots of scents however this one is passion fruit and pomegranate which is ok it's nothing special but still very yummy smelling and leaves my skin very soft.

Some pretty rings and jewelry:) :

The rings on my second and third finger are both from topshop and are sooo pretty they are rings which go with anything and im not sure where the ring on my fourth finger is from but they are all gorgeous.

These two rings are also from the topshop pack and are also gorgeous.

This is a cute little necklace i got from accesorize and i've got a big owl necklace but not a small one and i love it because the pattern and colours are absolutely amazing and it has little diamonds around the eyes which i love.

This is my thomas sabo bracelet which i got a few charms for which are the sea horse one and on the far left you can't really see but it's some little ballet pumps with a pink bit at the end.

And finally some body moisturiser:

All my friends and family love sanctuary so i was so happy when i got this. It smells absolutely amazing and is very moisturizing so go out and but some!

I just want to say thankyou for all my presents and i hope this has helped some of you out there who are struggling for presents. Please ask if you still want some more ideas for presents in the comments.

Soap&Glory Whipped Clean

Sorry guys another ramble about Soap&Glory but it is my fave. I have a massive selection of body washes to use in the shower with most of them being soap&glory but this one is my favourite. To apply it you apply onto wet skin and keep on rubbing it until it gets suddy then just rinse off or what i do is i use one of those shower cleanerers for your body( don't know the name) by wetting it and then rubbing the whipped clean into that till suddy again and then just apply to skin. It smells so yummy like vanilla, which i think it has in it along with almond oil i think. It looks like this:

Perfume

Now if you know me you'll know that i absolutely love perfumes and body sprays. And so today i thought i'd just share with you my favourite ones that i own. The first things i have to talk about are the Hollister sprays because these smell so delicious it's unreal. I have them in Malibu Beach and Salana Beach, which are pink and blue:

I only have these two but i know they do loads more like crystal cove, silver strand bay, crescent bay and many others. They all smell so delicious and are so refreshing on your skin. 

My next favourite's are the soap&Glory range of perfumes. I have both and personally the first one is my favourite as it's fresh and almost fruity more for the day time. However i do love the second one too but i would say it is more for going out somewhere and smells delicious too. They both look like this: 

I would highly recommend these and everything else in the soap and glory range. 

My last perfume and probably my favourite at the moment is the first Taylor Swift perfume, Wonderstruck. To start off with i absolutely love Taylor Swift and her songs anyways but this perfume is honestly something else. I would wear this everyday if i didn't want to waste.:

With the big one you get a bracelet with it but i only got the smaller one as it was cheaper. You can wear this perfume day or night to any occasion and you can pick it up here for £29.99. I hope you go out and enjoy these perfumes where you can pick up the Soap and Glory pefumes in boots. Sorry i couldn't find it online but it is definitely in store and for the hollister sprays you have to go in store and but them. Hope you enjoyed this post and speak soon.

Company Magazine

Sorry i haven't posted in ages but i've been in paris for the whole of last week which was amazing. So today is a bit of a random post i guess because it's just on magazine's really. (Or as i used to call them mazagine's). I've gone through quite a lot over the years from mizz to bliss but now i love glamour and company magazine, having company as my favourite. If you like magazine's with a lot to read then i wouldn't recommend them because there is a lot about fashion with just a few interviews and little bits of gossip. So Glamour looks like this: 

This is this month's issue which i haven't read yet but do have so let me know if you've read it. 

And company looks like this: 

I do like Company more now and this is just because i like the way they set things out in it, the paper has a lovely feel and the whole thing is kind of vintage. However the thing they both have now and again is little samples of things especially glamour which i love if i've been dying to try something out. These magazine's keep me entertained and i would highly recommend them. You can pick them up basically anywhere, boots, WHSmith, Booths, Marks and Spencers. Please comment and I hope you enjoy!

Body Shop Toner

Body Shop Toner

Hi guys so this body shop toner isn't really a toner it's more of a spot treatment. It is diluted tea tree oil which i find useful to put on my spots in the morning when im going out instead of pure tea tree oil. I put pure tea tree oil on at night but that really stinks so i don't like that on in the morning.

It looks like this but i find if i put it all over my face it gives me a rash so i would only recommend it on spots. Please tell me what you think of this in the comments. I won't be posting for a while because im going to paris so see you soon!

Baking

Creme Egg Brownies

Ingredients

185g Unsalted Butter

185g Dark Chocolate

85g Plain Flour

40g Dark Cocoa Powder

3 Large Eggs

275g Golden Caster Sugar

6 Cadbury Creme Eggs 

Method

1. Heat oven to 160 degrees and melt the chocolate and butter together in the microwave.

2. Put eggs and sugar into a bowl and mix with electric whisk.

3. Pour the chocolate mix over the eggy mousse and fold them together.

4. Sift the cocoa and flour mixture and fold into the other mixture.

5. Pour mixture into baking tray and put into oven for 15-20 minutes.

6. Once out of the oven cut the creme eggs in half and place into the brownies till sunk in then leave to cool.

These taste so amazing and even if you don't like creme eggs the brownie mixture is still so yummy please try and comment what you thought of them.

Maybelline Mega Plush Mascara

Maybelline Mega Plush Mascara 

So today im doing a bad post about this mascara because quite frankly i really don't like this mascara. I don't know whether it's because it's a bristle brush because i like plastic brushes. But anyways this is what it looks like:

It has quite a big brush and looks quite clumpy. I feel like it doesn't lengthen your lashes and you have to put a couple of  coats on for it too look good. Lots of other people who have tried it love it, however they like bristle brushes so i would recommend it if you like those type of brushes.
