Dealing with Bullying

Hi everyone!

So i was thinking about whether to do this post then i saw my friend allie otherwise known as yougottabegorgeousx did a post on bullying and our circumstances were quite similar so here's my story. I was like allie one of my "friends" that started this and it wasn't like proper bullying where you see them  being pushed or name called it was more just the way she dealt with things but my other friends couldn't see it and i that was the most annoying thing. She would just push me out of things with my friends and not speak to me then be all friendly it was really horrible. She made me feel really rubbish and like i wasn't worthy. None of my friends still no about this but i kind of told me best friend who doesn't go to the school and then to my mum. She had a chat with her parents and it seemed to stop. I am still not proper friends with her and to be honest i wouldn't want to be. My advice if your being bullied is just tell somebody! I know you've heard it a million times but it will make you feel like a weight has been lifted. Find people that make you feel good about yourself and try not to be interested in those who make you feel like crap. MUA heaven and earth review

Hi everyone!

So i thought it had been a while since i did a review on a beauty product so today i'm doing it on the MUA eye shadow. I know MUA have a lot of products but i have only tried the eye shadow. It looks like this.

This is what it looks like on the skin pretty much and my favourite usage of these is to put number 4 all over the lid and then number 11 in the crease with number 1 in the tear duct. I just think this is a really pretty combination and there are many others you just have to play around with them. I hope you enjoyed this and please feel free to comment or tweet me.

Garden Party Outfit

Haloha!

So today i went to a garden party where the theme was pink or flowers so i just went for a bit of a mix and match. I had a really nice time and thankfully it was sunny so this was what i wore.

My dress is from topshop and i absolutely love it. I got it last year but it is so pretty with this little lace detail in the middle.

This was my eye makeup where i just curled my eyelashes, out several coats of mascara on and then winged my eyeliner out. Those were also the earrings i was wearing.

For my hair I curled it really sloppily just doing random bits with my Remmington curling wand.

This was the side of my hair and where my grown out fringe is i pinned it back with some normal curby grips and then on the left side i just took a strip of hair and pinned that back with a purple flower.

I hope this has given you ideas for maybe if you were going to a bit of a garden party and thankyou for reading.

Update of the ab challenge

Hi everyone!

So as you all know i started the 30 day ab challenge a couple of weeks ago and i am now on Day 17. Just to give you a recap go check out my post about it here. 

It is seriously seriously hard once you get going and i found doing the crunches and leg raises really difficult so i cut those out just doing the sit ups and plank. But if i was feeling motivated i do 20 of the crunches and leg raises.

Today i have done 75 sit ups and a 65 second plank.

I can definitely see the improvement on my stomach and i will post a picture when my challenge is done. 

I have also been doing the squat challenge and to be honest i have not found that too hard, it does get you breathless but more than anything it's just time consuming. 

Just a bit of a ramble there hope you enjoyed and it got you motivated.

Learning lines for a play:)

Haloha!

Now in your school life there is always going to be one point where you do a play, a poem or speak to an audience. Whether it's in drama, english or whatever whether you like it or not. And a big part in this is of course learning your lines especially if it's a big part. I have done many plays so far in my life, a lot out of school but a few in school and in November i am doing a massive play of Macbeth where I am Lady Macbeth. I am really honored to be taking this part but there are a lot of lines and i mean a lot. 

1. So there are many ways to learn your ways but the way i like to do it is sectioning your lines into two or three sentences at a time and just repeating these to yourself until you know them without looking. This is basically all i do and i find is a really effective method. 

2. However other people i know they tend to write there lines down and that sinks in for them but i just can't do that. 

3. Another way that sometimes works is to make a song of your words so that it is catchy and easier to remember. 

4. I think those are the three main methods but once your pretty happy with knowing your lines get a friend/parent to go over the lines with you like filling in other people's voices.

My shellac nails day 12:)

Haloha!

I know i probably should have done this post earlier so it was in three stages but i've just been so busy so sorry about that and this will probably be that last time i do this about my nails. 

So 2 weekends ago on Saturday be and a few friends got our nails shellac'd go see the post here. And this is the state of my nails now:

You can just see at the top of my nails there is a slight white band where they have chipped a tiny bit and also at the bottom they have rubbed off a bit. 

I am seriously impressed with how they have lasted and i am thinking of getting them done clear for school as is my friend Allie otherwise known as yougottabegorgeousx because she bites hers. I love having them done because of the sheen it gives them and it's a lovely thing to do.

Hi Everyone!

So today i am finally doing a outfit of the day post! I've been wanting to do this for ages but just haven't got round to it but today is the day. I am wearing a black skater skirt, wooly tights, a pink top and a heart necklace.

I love this outfit because of the contrast between the bright pink and the black. I am going to the cinema tonight so i think this is a great cinema outfit, not too posh.

CORRIE SHOCK!

Hi guys!

Sorry i haven't posted but i've been away for a few days but im back now. So the talk is back to corrie again but about a specific person, Tommy. I don't know about you but i love Tommy and i think he is pretty fit aswell. But he has apparently done a rape rap which wasn't appropriate and they have fired him:(((( 

I am so upset because from what i saw on the tape it wasn't too bad and i just love Chris Fountain.

No heat curlers!

Hi guys!

I try not to use heat on my hair because it keeps it in better quality but when it comes to summer i especially try not to use heat. I do have naturally wavy/curly hair but sometimes i like to have  more curls and i use these snazzy looking things

I'm sorry i have no idea what they're called but i think i got mine from boots. You then just wrap your hair around them like this.

Sorry but i had my hair in a bun, so then you just start from the root of your hair and wrap it around to the bottom. 

I do this when my hair is wet and use about 9 of these things... 

I then take them out in the morning and bam! I have really tight, pretty curls. I really highly recommend these and they are also very cost affective.

Baby Lips

Haloha!

I am actually really excited about this post because from the title i suppose you've realised that it is about baby lips! We didn't have baby lips in England and so when i knew they were coming out in England i was soo exited and they're finally here! Me and my friends went shopping last saturday and bought some. I got the orange one which is called cherry me and the purple one which is called peach kiss:

This is cherry me.

This i what cherry me looks like on the lips and as you can see it just gives a slight colour tint and it is so smooth on your lips. I love wearing this when i just what a slight hint of colour but not a bold red. 

This is the peach kiss and it makes your lips look lighter and it is again really smooth, i would wear this on just a day in for a bit of moisture.

D.I.Y bows! :)

Hi guys!

So at the moment i have really been loving bows and i know claire's do loads and i wanted to get a few so i got a pretty lilac lace one and a black one. But then i saw a video on youtube from macbarbie07 go check it out here on how to make your own bows and it is much cheaper so me and my friends decided to make some. You need just a few things which are: 

1. Some material 

2. Fabric glue/super glue

3. scissors 

4. Some clips

How you make them is get your material and fold it over 2 times so it is about 2 inches thick. Then fold both ends into the middle and glue them there. Turn it back over to the front and pinch it together to get the bow affect. It will probably take a few goes but just keep trying. Once you have it in the position glue all bits together. Next from your material get another thin strip and fold that twice so it is about half an inch thick and wrap this around the middle of the bow and stick down. Finally put a blob of glue on the back of the bow where you want your clip and glue it on. That is then your finished bow. These were mine:

Mine didn't turn out too well but i'm quite happy with them and im sure i can improve and you guys can make them look amazing. Thanks for reading

My shellac nails day one:)

Haloha guys!

So today is a nails post and i suppose it is also a bit of a notd( nails of the day) post because i have had my nails shellac'd. Loads of my friends have had them done and there's been a big rave about them recently so me my mum my three friends and her mum decided to get them done. My best friend bethan had hers done a gorgeous pastely blue, her younger sister got them done a pretty pastely purple, her older sister got them done a shiny red, her mum got them done a dark sparkly green, my mum got them done a reddy pink sparkling colour which were all gorgeous and i got mine done pastely pink. They were all done at no.1 the salon where i also get my hair cut on the way to morecambe. They are so friendly so go check them out. Mine looked like this:

Sorry the pictures and very good quality but honestly they are so pretty and i have a better pick on my instagram which is fliss1420. These nails are meant to last up to 2 weeks so i will try to do a post of them in the middle of that time and nearer the end. So today is just a bit of an intro to my life. I've been doing my blog for quite a while now and you probably have picked up things about me but here is just a few facts i thought you might enjoy. 

1.How tall are you? I am about 5ft 8 

2.How old are you? I am 13 and my birthday is on 14th july.

3. I live with my mum and visit my dad at the weekend.

4. What is your favourite food? My favourite food is tiramisu.

5. Tyson Beckford is extremely hot. 

6. What's your favourite tv show? My favourite tv show is britain and ireland's next top model.

7. Whats your favourite song? My favourite song at the moment is The Big Bang by Rock Mafia ft miley cyrus listen to it here .

8. What is your favourite colour? My favourite colour is purple.

9. What is your favourite book? My favourite book is probably Looking for Alaska my John Green but i also love the georgia nicholson confessions and harry potter.

10.Do you have any pets? I don't have any pets.

11. What's your favourite perfume? My favourite perfume is the Wonderstruck by Taylor Swift.

12. Where have you been on holiday? I have been extremely lucky with going to czech republic, prague, disney land florida, maldives, egypt, menorca, tenerife, Crete and Italy. 

13. Do you speak any other language? i can speak a bit of french and spanish but to be honest im crap at it and really hate languages.

14. Do you have any siblings? Nop.

15. What is your favourite shop? Probably topshop

16. What is your favourite restaurant? I'm not sure i don't really eat out but proabably pizza margherita.

19.What is the colour of your room? I have one coral feature wall and the rest is cream.

Disco outfits!

Haloha! 

So today is about that time where it's someone's birthday and they are having a disco and you completely freak out because you have no idea what to wear! I thought i'd just show you a few outfits of what to wear at a disco and i have already worn one of these. 

The first one is of course the black disco pants. It pretty much says it in the name so yeh. 

This is just what they look like close up and it's a kind of wet affect and i love these.

 The top i would pair them with is this blue one however they go with almost anything. 

You can't see the neck here because it has slightly folded sorry about that but it is a slight turtle neck which does make it look a bit fancier. I got this from new look and i have left a link on where to buy it on another post so go check that out here. 

Next outfit is a body con skirt and this is a outfit i have worn to disco and got many compliments on. 

My skirt just looks like these and has the ribbed affect. This is from new look.

It looks really small here but it's not actually that small trust me because i'm really tall. The top i'd wear with this is my red peter pan collar from new look.

I love this top soooooo much it is one of my favourite tops it is just gorgeous! I wear this top tucked in with my body con skirt and this top would also probably go with the disco pants.

Last outfit is probably the most fancy because it is and animal print hip dem skirt ( which i like to call high low skirt) but it is gorgeous! My mum got is from H&M but didn't wear so she gave it to me.

This skirt is a real statement piece i think so i would just wear it with a black vest top and maybe a necklace.

Updated Skin Care Routine For Summer

So when the seasons change i like to switch around my skincare routine a little with literally just a small change so this is what i do. In the morning i change these about with these products:

The Soap&Glory peaches and clean which sr mells really gorgeous and is a nice creamy mixture and is really gentle on the skin i think. 

Next is the Clinique exfoliater which i only use once a week and this is amazing for getting dead skin cells off your face and it does really smooth down your face. 

Thirdly is the Garnier fruit energy face wash which i have just recently got and will give you a post about it soon. I've only used this a couple of times but from what i've tried it smells gorgeous! and has slight exfoliating bits in which really helps. 

Next is a product which really stinks. But i reckon it is a good product because it uses very natural ingredients. If you can stand the smell then it is a really good product but honestly it proper stinks i have to breath through my mouth it smells a little like cow poo so yeh:) I got this in the glamour magazine but im sure you can get in boots or superdrug.

I then use the simple hydrating moisturiser which i love as it is quite a light moisturiser for summer instead of the Elizabeth Arden 8 hours cream which is very thick. 

On top of that i use the Clearasil rapid action spot treatment which i have to say is my favourite spot zapper ever. It does bring them down a lot quite quickly which i love.

Then at night i just remove all my makeup with a simple cleansing wipe which is really soft before i go in the shower. Then as soon as i get out to lock in the moisture i use my simple moisturiser again. Then the clearasil spot cream again and on top of that just some tea tree oil which is my life saver and is what i highly recommend for getting rid of spots.
